The Victoria Grand Residential Care Home has 32 rooms with your choice of view looking out over the front or back private and immaculately kept gardens.
Your room will come fully decorated with elegant furnishings and tasteful decor. Full facilities are provided including a wonderfully comfortable bed and a well-appointed bathroom.
However, this is your home and so can be decorated to suit your taste if you’d prefer. In addition, we’d love you to make it feel yours with all your treasured mementos, special ornaments and favourite pieces of small furniture.

Just because you're a little older doesn't mean life has to stop. At The Victoria Grand we have lots of interesting activities, events, entertainment and trips for you to enjoy. In fact one of the most common comments we get is "I wish we'd done this sooner".
Meal times are another favourite time for getting together for a chat and enjoying the delicious, nutritious and varied menu provided by our 5 Star Chef.
All you accommodation ,meals, cleaning and ironing is of course included and done for you. However if you still enjoy baking, cooking, gardening or anything else you can do as much or as little as you like. Then we’ll do everything else like taking care of all those little chores and tasks that become so bothersome as the years move on, leaving you to relax and enjoy yourself.

There are a wide variety of activities that residents may join in with if they so wish. These include sing-along sessions, quizzes, arts and crafts and film afternoons. The Victoria Grand is an animal friendly home. Outings to the shops and trips out can also be organised. Free wi-fi and I-pad like tablets are provided for residents’ use.
Highlights in resident’s lives are celebrated such as birthdays and wedding anniversaries, as well as seasonal festivities. Families and friends are welcome to attend all our events.
Family Involvement
We welcome and encourage the involvement of family and friends in a resident’s care. Because care is specifically planned according to the needs of the resident we will often seek information regarding previous lifestyles and interests from family members.
Fees
These are determined on an individual basis, dependant on the care needs of the resident.
We will carry out assessments of needs that will be used to develop individual care plans with the objective of meeting the aims of each person.
Other Professionals
We have regular visits from a chiropodist, optician and hairdresser. We can organise visits from physiotherapists, speech therapists and other professionals should a resident so require.
